POMONA Residents Association is holding an important meeting on March 27 regarding the proposed housing development in the area.The meeting will take place at Laerskool Bredell from 6.30pm to 8pm and residents are urged to attend.
In the meantime, Nemai Consulting has announced that the draft basic assessment report (BAR) on the proposed Pomona Estate Mixed Typology Housing Development is open for public review.
Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality proposes to develop between 470 and 530 residential units on Portion 2 of 293 Pomona Estates Agricultural Holdings.
Interested and affected parties now have an opportunity to review and comment on the BAR. Copies of the draft BAR are available for viewing at Kempton Park Library on CR Swart Drive until April 23.
A public meeting will be held on April 14 from 4.30pm to 6pm at Laerskool Bredell to present the findings of the draft BAR and to allow a platform for project related discussion.
