Only four of the 10-member mayoral committee were retained in their posts.
“One of the key elements of the State of the City Address on Wednesday was accelerating service delivery towards the end of the term for the current term of local government office in 2016.We gave a full report of how we have done since we took office in May 2011. However, in an effort to optimise service delivery, we must continuously assess our performance so that the necessary interventions can be made. Every healthy organisation must reflect on its performance on a regular basis to determine if the machinery remains relevant to the cause,” said Clr Gungubele.
