Electricity supply interruption for Tembisa

Tembisa residents can expect an electricity supply interruption as the municipality seeks to conduct some necessary maintenance work.

In its continuous efforts to provide a stable and reliable electricity supply to consumers, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) said essential maintenance work will be carried out at 30 substations in Winnie Mandela, Tembisa.

In order to make way for the work, a number of electricity supply interruptions will be implemented from May 18 to June 5, between 8am and 4pm.

Affected areas will include Winnie Mandela extensions 23 and 24.

Residents are reminded to treat the electricity network as electrically live at all times.

The EMM apologised for any inconveniences.
