VOTERS in the voting districts of Birch Acres Primary School, Chloorkop Primary School and Mooifontein Primary School can expect door-to-door visits from the Democratic Alliance (DA) voter contact team to remind them to register as a voter at the voting stations within their voting district, leading up to the 2016 local government elections.
Voters generally do not pay attention to the registration process and are often registered at a voting station where they cast their first vote or may have never taken the time to register.
The team would like to remind all eligible voters to register in the voting district where they currently reside, PR councillor Allan Sauls said.
Voters would also be offered the opportunity to engage with the team on service delivery issues.
