Tembisa to host chess tournament

Tsogo Sun Moves For Life, the host of chess at Tembisa schools, will host its first annual Tembisa Chess Tournament on June 16.

Pupils and interested community members around Tembisa are invited to attend.

The aim of the tournament is to collect clothes and shoes for orphans and children in need.

Each participant will be requested to donate items, which will be handed out to children in need.

There will be medals, trophies and cash prizes up for grabs.

The tournament will be held at Child Academy, next to Thembi Mall, opposite the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court.
