16 injured as minibus taxi overturns on Zuurfontein Road
The injured were transported to various hospitals
Sixteen people were injured following an accident at the intersection of Zuurfontein and Plane roads in Spartan in peak-hour traffic on Monday afternoon.
William Ntladi, spokesman for Ekurhuleni emergency services, said the the call was received shortly before 5pm.

“When rescue crews from Kempton Park Fire Station arrived on the scene, they found a minibus taxi on its side close to the intersection.
“Medical teams from various ambulance services, including Ekurhuleni Emergency Services ambulance crews, found four patients’ sustained serious injuries and the rest, including the driver, only minor injuries.”
The injured were transported to various hospitals.
