Gauteng police officers have arrested two male suspects for robbery at Rabie Ridge today.
Rabie Ridge SAPS communications officer, Constable Jacob Nhlongo said police are still looking for a third suspect.
It is alleged the suspects had robbed a man in Lyttleton, Centurion. “The victim was getting off the R21 highway. The suspects driving in a Black Range Rover jammed their vehicle in front of the victim’s car. Three suspects exited the Black Range Rover. They approached the victim and shots were fired,” police said. According to eyewitnesses at the scene, the suspects took something out of the victim’s car which is suspected to be an undisclosed amount of money.
Police said the victim was shot and injured in the upper body. “An undisclosed amount of money and three firearms were recovered at the scene of arrests. The Range Rover was hijacked in Sandton,” said by Constable Nhlongo.
