Residents to pray after yet another murder

FOLLOWING another brutal murder in Edleen on Tuesday, August 4, residents will hold a prayer meeting on Sunday, August 16, from 11.30am to 12.30pm, in the park bordered by Salix Terrace and Elder Street in Edleen (opposite the victim’s house).

As God’s children, residents will call on God on behalf of the residents of Edleen and all the murder victims’ families.

“We will confess our sins and plead His mercy and intervention in eradicating the scourge of crime in Edleen,” Hetta Kotze said.

The meeting will be led by Rev Gideon Strauss and there will be opportunity for all to come before God in prayer. All members of the community are welcome to attend.
