Murder accused set to appear in court

A 23-year-old woman, who was arrested after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death, was expected to appear in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

The incident occurred in Winnie Mandela on Wednesday last week.

According to the Tembisa SAPS communications officer, Captain Manyadza Ralidzivha, it was alleged that the woman had an argument with her boyfriend, who is 28 years old.

“A fight ensued between the two. The woman grabbed a sharp object and stabbed her boyfriend in his upper body. The man was later found lying in a pool of blood in the room. The woman was arrested,” said Capt Ralidzivha.
