ANC and SAPS march against cop killings
A memorandum was also handed over to all the station commanders of the Tembisa Cluster
THE Kempton Park branch of the ANC joined hands with the Tembisa Cluster SAPS members to march against police killings on Saturday morning.
The campaign, which also aimed to speak out against drug abuse, was joined by local CPF members as well as community members.
According to Capt Jethro Mtshali, Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson, police officials from Kempton SAPS, Rabie Ridge and Ivory Park were part of the peaceful march.
“A memorandum was later handed to all respective station commanders before marchers dispersed,” Mtshali concluded.
