A man was found dead in a 210 litre plastic water container in Klipfotein, Tembisa on Sunday.
According to police officers, the body was found at about 6am along Masala Road. The man is apparently a foreign national between the ages of 28 and 30.
The deceased was wrapped in a carpet and his head covered in plastic. Both his feet stuck out.
The spokesperson for Tembisa SAPS, Constable Patricia Mgijima, said a case of murder had been opened.
