THE second annual Black Tie Charity Gala event will be held on Saturday evening at the Aviator Hotel in Kempton.

The event was started last year by Prudence Sihlangu and her partner Tebogo Bulane as a fundraising initiative to help underprivileged learners from Tembisa.

This year, the money raised will again go towards bursaries and buying school shoes for learners from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Guests will have to dress the part for the night in formal and elegant clothing, channeling old Hollywood style, just the way your favourite movie stars would for an Oscars Award ceremony.

The entrance fees will be R375 per person and the event will be from 5pm on Saturday until 12 midnight.
