SAPS searches for hijacked vehicle

The Ivory Park SAPS is looking for a silver/grey Quantum which was allegedly hijacked on October 2 in Ebony Park, near Ivory Park.

The communications officer at the Ivory Park SAPS, Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela, said the vehicle belongs to Lotus General Service, a company in Witbank.

“The registration number of the vehicle is HBP 307 MP. The driver of the vehicle was leaving his house in the morning for work. He reversed and closed the gate when two suspects approached him and threatened him with a firearm,” she said.

“He was forced to sit in the back seat and they drove off. The worker was dropped off in Kaalfontein and the suspects fled in the vehicle.”
