Politicians and celebrities to join prayer event for Tembisa’s matric pupils
"We want to help prepare them mentally before the exams."
Kuzondlula Motivational Tour will be hosting a matric prayer for all the Tembisa matric pupils.
The matric prayer will be held at Lord Khanyile Hall, Ivory Park on Tuesday, October 17.
It will be from 10am to 2 pm.
Mr Vuyolethu Sibiya said the event will be aimed at empowering the matriculants and youth of Tembisa and the surrounding areas.
“We want to help prepare them mentally before the exams and after, to shape their future by powerful motivations from a panel of speakers on the day. We have invited high profile individuals in Mzansi,” he added.
Some of the guest speakers to take part in the event are Gauteng MEC for Department of Infrastructure Development, Nandi Mayethula Khoza; Minister in the Presidency, Jeff Radebe and Gauteng MEC for Education Panyaza Lesufi.
Celebrities to also take part are DJ Sbu, Shomba Hlophe, DJ Shimza and Don Mhlangeni from Uzalo drama series on SABC 1.
