Skhumba brings kasi style to fans

Comedy fans can look forward to one of the most anticipated comedy shows of the year, Skhumba Hlophe Live, which will take place at The Lyric.
Skhumba will perform three shows. The shows will take place on Friday, November 6 at 8pm, and two shows on Saturday, November 7 at 7.30pm and 9.30pm, at Gold Reef City.

His unique Kasi flavoured comedy thrills fans and critics alike, and his show is both profound and hilarious, reflecting his unique perspectives on life, family and relationships.
Hlope is a regular comedy club attraction across the country and his larger than life humour regularly takes his audience by surprise, which often results in irrepressible spasms of laughter.
With his Zulu foundation, his hilarious mannerisms and slang are akin to what can be heard around some of the ‘hoods’ of Gauteng.
He is also the resident comedian on Kaya FM’s Breakfast Show, 180 with Bob, making listeners laugh every Friday morning from 8am to 9am.
“Skhumba is hugely popular and in a league of his own. His jokes are kasi style to the core. We anticipate a sell-out show and encourage guests to get their tickets fast,” said Gold Reef City Marketing Manager, Gareth Kaschula.
