On Thursday, Ekurhuleni executive mayor, Clr Mondli Gungubele, will announce the rollout of this exciting project, which is one of the first steps towards achieving the ideal of a Digital City.
The event will take place in Katlehong.
Access to the digital domain opens up a world of new possibilities for students, professionals, business people as well as communities, families and individuals.
All citizens of the City of Ekurhuleni – residing in townships, suburbs, informal settlements or farms – will have free access to the world through Ekurhuleni’s Free Wi-Fi.
