Several Kempton Park suburbs will have no water on Tuesday night as a result of a planned water interruption.
In its continuous efforts to provide a stable and reliable water supply network to consumers, Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality will be connecting a new pipe on Dann Road as well as Loam Street in Glen Marais, Themba Gadebe, metro spokesman, said.
In order to make way for the work, there will be a planned water supply interruption that will affect parts of Kempton Park on Tuesday, December 1 from 9pm until midnight.
The areas to be affected are Glen Marais; Glen Erasmia; Nimrod Park; Allen Grove; Aston Manor; Kempton Park extensions and Bredell.
Residents are advised to store water for domestic use. The metro wishes to apologise for any inconvenience to be caused.
