Maranatha obtains 100 per cent pass rate
The 53 matrics earned a combined total of 56 distinctions
THE 53 matrics that wrote their final exams at Maranatha Christian School last year obtained a 100 per cent pass rate.
They also notched up 56 distinctions with an university exemption of 81 per cent.
Musa Maboea was the top performer with five distinctions. He obtained distinctions in Afrikaans first additional language, life orientation, accounting, business studies and economics.
Three learners earned four distinctions each. They are Deran Moodley (mathematics, life orientation, accounting and physical science), Shannon Hart (mathematics, life orientation, life sciences and physical science) and Jerida Tsipa (English home language, life orientation, geography and life sciences).
