Shangri-La’s Tammy Smit bags herself 5 distinctions

TAMMY Smit of Shangri-La Academy managed to bag herself five distinctions in her 2015 grade 12 final exams.

Smit obtained distinctions in Afrikaans, Computers Application Technology, English (HL), life orientation and physical science.

Shangri-La’s matriculants wrote their IEB exams last year and the school achieved a 100 percent pass rate.

The school has been getting a full pass rate since 2002.

A total of 47 students wrote the exams, and together obtained 32 distinctions. Fifty-four percent of them achieved a university pass.
