Ekurhuleni’s executive mayor, Clr Mondli Gungubele, lead Members of the Mayoral Committee in donating school uniforms to three schools within Ekurhuleni.
The initiative formed part of the mayor’s Adopt-A–School campaign and it kicked off on January 19 at Winnie Mandela Secondary School, where new school uniforms were donated to less fortunate pupils.
The delegation, which was headed by the mayor, then headed to Payneville Primary School in Springs on January 20, followed by a visit to Thoko Thaba Secondary School in Thokoza on January 21.
