A third emergency water shutdown on Monday

Water tankers will not be supplied as the operation is at night

A third emergency water shutdown in as many weeks on Monday night will affect several Kempton Park suburbs.

Similar shutdowns were announced for January 28 and February 3.

The shutdown is necessary to replace valves on Willow Street and Kingfisher Street in Kempton Park CBD and for pipe repairs at the corner off Albatross and Gladiator streets, as well as at the corner of Loam Street and Dann Road.

The areas to be are affected are Kempton Park CBD, Kempton Park extensions, Aston Manor, Nimrod Park, Allen Grove, Glen Erasmia, Glen Marais, Pomona and Bredell.

The planned shutdown will take place on Monday from 8pm to 3am.

Water tankers will not be supplied as the operation is at night.
