Power supply interruption to affect Tembisa for the next month

The month-long maintenance work is one of the municipality’s efforts to prevent future equipment failure.

In its efforts to provide stable and reliable electricity supply to consumers, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) wishes to inform customers of essential maintenance work to be carried out on the electrical network in Tembisa.

In order to make way for the work, there will be a planned power supply interruption affecting Clayville East from Wednesday, March 30 to Friday, April 29 between 8am and 4pm.

The electricity supply interruption will be applied intermittently to the streets in the area to minimize the inconvenience to customers. Therefore the entire area will not be switched off, only the streets where technicians will be working on a given day.

The month-long maintenance work is one of the municipality’s efforts to prevent future equipment failure.
