Month-long maintenance work on electrical network kicks off

The month- long maintenance work is one of the municipality’s efforts to prevent future equipment failure.

Essential maintenance work will be carried out on the electrical network in Tembisa.

This is in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality’s (EMM) ongoing efforts to provide a stable and reliable electricity supply to consumers. In order to make way for the work, there will be a planned power supply interruption affecting Clayville East from March 30 to April 29, between 8am and 4pm.

The electricity supply interruption will be applied intermittently to the streets in the area to minimize the inconvenience to customers.

Therefore, the entire area will not be switched off, only the streets where technicians will be working on a given day.
