'We have not yet determined his age and identity, but can confirm it was a white man'

THE identity of a man who was found bound and burnt in an open veld in Olifantsfontein near the R21 off-ramp on Tuesday, is still unknown but police have revealed his race.

“The man’s hands and feet were tied and he was found face down. We have not yet determined his age and identity, but can confirm it was a white man,” said Olifantsfontein SAPS spokesman, Const Mokete Serakwana.

Serakwana said a murder case was being investigated. It is not known what the cause of death was.
