Tembisans reminded of power supply interruption

Work started on March 30 and will continue until April 29.

Tembisa residents are reminded of the month-long power supply interruption as Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) carries out essential maintenance work on the electrical network in Tembisa. Work started on March 30 and will continue until April 29.

In order to make way for the work, the planned power supply interruption is affecting Clayville East between 8am and 4pm.

The electricity supply interruption is applied intermittently to the streets in the area to minimize the inconvenience to customers. Therefore the entire area will not be switched off, only the streets where technicians will be working on a given day.

The month-long maintenance work is one of the municipality’s efforts to prevent future equipment failure.
