POLICE would like to warn the community of a smash and grab hot spot.
Norkem Park SAPS spokesman, Capt Lesibana Molokomme, said they had been experiencing robberies at the P91/R25 intersection next to the School of Excellence (Transnet).
“The male robber smashes stationary car windows when the traffic light is red. Valuable items placed on the seats are taken and he runs into the open veld. The incidents take place in the early hours of the morning and in the afternoon,” said Molokomme.
Anyone with information about the suspect may contact Norkem Park police on 011-391-1814/5, or on the sector numbers, 071-675-680/2 up to 7.
