A 33-year-old man was apprehended on Friday night by the community of Ebony Park after trying to commit a house robbery.

The Ivory Park SAPS communications officer, Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela, said it is believed the suspect entered a house and found the victim and his brother inside.

“The suspect demanded their cellular phones while pointing a firearm at them. The victim’s brother managed to grab him and they started to fight over the firearm.
