“Const Mafuma was patrolling the area when he received a tip-off regarding a blue BMW 3-Series that was involved in an armed robbery in Kempton at corner Pomona and Dann roads on April 10,” Kempton SAPS’ Capt Jethro Mtshali said in a statement.
According to Mtshali, Mafuma spotted the BMW parked at one of the houses in Edenvale.
“Two suspects who were on the property, an African male and Indian male, were questioned and the vehicle was checked. It was then established that it was indeed involved in the commission of a crime.”
Both suspects were arrested and will appear in court for armed robbery, while the vehicle was impounded by police.
