TWO armed home invaders had been shot dead at a Van Riebeeck Park residence last night.
According to Russel Meiring of ER24 both men were in their twenties.
Meiring said paramedics were called to the scene by members of the local community policing forum.
“On arrival, paramedics were led onto the premises were they found the body of one man lying in the garden while the second lay inside the home. On assessment, paramedics found that both men had sustained fatal injuries in the shooting. Nothing more could be done and they were declared dead on scene,” said Meiring.
