A mother has handed her son, who was wanted for rape, over to Norkem Park SAPS.
Capt Lesibana Molokomme, spokesman for Norkem Park SAPS, said the mother brought her son (26) to the station at 1.30pm on Wednesday. He was also wanted for house robbery.
Molokomme said his alleged accomplice had been arrested on April 21 along Pongolariver Drive. The arrest came after the victim spotted him and informed the police.

It is alleged the two men attacked the victim with a knife at her home on January 25.
“On the day the mother of the victim employed the two suspects to clean her yard. She left them with her daughter, aged 32. The complainant felt sorry for them and decided to give them something to eat. The suspects pushed her into the house, reportedly raping her and taking property in the house,” Molokomme said.
