DRUGS worth an estimated R50 000 were confiscated during a crime prevention operation on Wednesday, May 4.
Four suspects were also arrested in connection with the drugs, which was mostly mandrax.
The operation was a joint effort between members of the police and metro police which mainly focused on the Kempton CBD.
W/O Jean Olckers, Ekurhuleni North Communications Officer on-call, said such operations and their successes were very crucial for the police in the fight against crime.
