A woman has been taken into custody

CRYSTAL meth to the street value of R400 000 was seized at a house in Norkem Park on May 9.

A 28-year-old woman from KwaZulu-Natal had been arrested for being in possession of 4 606 grams of the drug.

Norkem Park SAPS spokesman, Capt Lesibana Molokomme, said: “At about 4pm members from Johannesburg Flying Squad responded to a tip-off from a member of the community about drugs at the house on Caledon Drive.

“Upon arrival at the scene they found a female suspect in the house and permission to search was given to officers.

“In the house they recovered white and brownish substances suspected to be crystal meth, and two scales,” added Molokomme.
