Water supply interruptions tonight

No water tankers will be provided during this time.

The City of Ekurhuleni announced that some areas in Tembisa will experience a planned water supply interruption later today, May 16 from 8pm.

Water supply will only be restored on tomorrow, Tuesday at 5am.

During the interruption, the city’s technicians will be connecting a new water pipeline at Welamlambo section.

The following areas will be affected:

  • Inxiweni
  • Ibaxa
  • Isiphethweni
  • Isivana
  • Difateng
  • Vusimuzi
  • Ehlanzeni

No water tankers will be provided during this time. Consumers are requested to store enough water for their domestic chores throughout this period.
