RESIDENTS in Cresslawn and Spartan industries have been without water since Tuesday morning.
According to Themba Gadebe, metro spokesman, said they were aware of the water supply interruption affecting the area.
“Repairs are currently taking place and it is anticipated the supply will be reinstated this evening around 6pm.
“In the meantime, water tankers will be provided at Rigger and Sycamore roads in Cresslawn. There will also be a roving water tanker circulating in the spartan industrial area.
“The metrowishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the interruption,” Gadebe said.
He did not say why the interruption occurred.
