Theft from cars at malls on the increase

Valuable items should not be left in sight

POLICE have noticed an increase in theft from cars.

According to Capt Jethro Mtshali, Kempton Park SAPS spokesman, these thefts mainly occur in parking areas at shopping malls.

Residents are again reminded to put all valuable items in the boot of their car.

Mtshali said since the beginning of May, 10 such cases had already been reported.
