One killed when two taxis collide

One person was killed and four others injured after a head-on collision between two taxis on Glen Norton Road at around 6.17am on June 29.

The injured were transported to Tembisa Hospital.

According to the district manager media liaison of Emergency Services Disaster and Emergency Management Services, Mr William Ntladi the driver of one of the taxis was declared dead at the scene. Four people sustained serious injuries, including the driver of the other taxi.

Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) are investigating the cause of accident.
