NEARLY 100 candidates, representing 16 political parties, will contest the 2016 municipal elections in Kempton Park.
The most candidates to battle it out in the eight wards representing Kempton Park is 13, with the minimum being nine.
As a result of new demarcations, Kempton now has eight instead of seven wards.
All Kempton Park wards, except for ward 13 (ANC), are run by the DA. All these councillors, except for Joey Roos, are standing again in the 2016 elections.
