With Ekurhuleni’s results still not finalised, the ruling ANC is set to keep control.
So far the ANC has won 74 seats, the DA 35 and newcomers, the Economic Freedom Front (EFF) one.
The DA again took Kempton Park, winning seven of the eight wards.
