Essential repair work to be carried out in Tembisa

Residents are encouraged to store water for domestic purposes.

The City of Ekurhuleni wishes to inform customers in the Tembisa area of a planned water supply interruption scheduled for Monday, August 22 from 7pm to 5am, Tuesday morning.

The water supply interruption will allow for repair works to be effected on the 350MM valve.

Areas to be affected include:

  • Emfihlweni,
  • Ililiba,
  • Emangweni,
  • Elidinga,
  • Gqagqa,
  • Isekelo and
  • Endulwini.

Water tankers will not be provided during the water supply interruption therefore customers are requested to make the necessary arrangements to store water for domestic purposes.

Residents’ are reminded to ensure that all water taps are property closed at all times.
