Drug fighting team will be back in Kempton

The NGO works with the police's organised crime unit to fight drug trading and drug abuse in different communities

THE Quest4Justice Community Project will be back on Kempton’s streets to help in the fight against drugs.

The NGO works with the police’s organised crime unit to fight drug trading and drug abuse in different communities.

Having started their work in KZN, the organisation is now also on the East and West Rand and plans on spreading all over the country.

Within the next few months, they will be having operations in various areas, including Kempton Park, Boksburg, Pretoria, Krugersdorp, Randfontein and Kagiso on the West Rand.

“A tremendous amount of information comes from the general public via email and we have had a great deal of success as a result of this,” the Quest4Justice team said.

They require any kind of information and tip-offs from the public, for example phone numbers, addresses and car registration numbers of suspected drug dealers within the community.

The founders of the Quest4Justice Community Project come from private investigation and military backgrounds and the two men do a lot of field work, keeping surveillance on all illegal drug trading.

They go undercover as dealers or users and collect the relevant information for the police to be able to do their busts.

Information can be emailed to 911quest4justice@gmail.com. All tip-offs and people’s identities will be kept anonymous.

The group is also on Facebook.
