Talented teen invited back to the USA
The matric student modelled in a high fashion runway show, a creative runway and swimsuit contests while in America
LOCAL talent Hillary Idiabolo has been invited back to the USA to take part in an arts festival.
Idiabolo came back from America in July after being invited to and performing at the ARTS Showcase in Orlando, Florida.
“America was absolutely amazing. I was in New York and Orlando for the time I was there. We got the opportunity to have personal interaction with talent agents and scouts from agencies such as Major Model Management in New York as well BET’s casting director,” the Hoërskool Voortrekker learner said.

While in the United States for the ARTS Showcase, she did a variety of performances, including a monologue, cold read as well as an advert shoot.
The matric student also modelled in a high fashion runway show, a creative runway and swimsuit contests.
Talent scouts were so impressed with her work that she was invited back to the US for another ARTS Showcase.
“It was a very successful trip for me. I was invited to ARTS in Hollywood in December and have an opportunity to further my career there,” Idiabolo said.
It’s the same event but this time it is hosted in Hollywood, the home of the biggest film and television stars, which will make the event even bigger and better.
“I will be surrounded by industry professionals from the fields I will be involved in, which include modelling and acting.”
The teen will be there for two weeks and says she looks forward to making yet another impact and leaving her mark on US soil.
