Family remembers late son

Tembisa family celebrates son.

The Makgomarela family held a memorial event for their late son recently.

Benjamin “Noko” Makgomarela died on April 30.

Those who attended the event were community members, friends and families.

The Makgomarela family said the day was filled with memories, happiness and tears for all the years shared with Benjamin.

“September 4 marked his first birthday without him,” said Puseletso Lebyane .

Ms Lebyane said Benjamin enjoyed serving the community in various aspects and was actively involved in local organisations in trying to develop the community.

“He was a team player as a volunteer in cleaning local schools and he served the community selflessly,” said Ms Lebyane.

“As a family we felt that because he served the community and as he was known to many, Tembisa people together with the family have to remember him,” said Ms Lebyane.
