“The body of a man was found next to the vehicle, while another lay some distance away on the other side of an electric fence.
“Paramedics assessed the first man and found he had sustained fatal injuries. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead on the scene. The second man was assessed and found to have sustained numerous injuries, leaving him in a critical condition,” Meiring said.
Paramedics immediately treated the man and provided him with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the man was transported to Tembisa Hospital for further treatment.
It is understood the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll multiple times and ejecting both men.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
