A man was injured after losing control of his car on the highway near Olifantsfontein.

According to EMER-G-MED, their paramedics responded to a single vehicle collision on the N1 South before Olifantsfontein in Midrand.

The accident happened on Thursday at about 2pm.

It is believed that the driver lost control of his vehicle and collided with an embankment.

Upon assessment, paramedics found the man to have sustained moderate injuries.

The patient was transported by EMER-G-MED to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
