NOMINATIONS for the election of new ward committee members close today.
The elections of ward committees will take place in each of the 112 wards from November 12 to January 31.
The election dates for the eight Kempton Park wards are:
14 November: Ward 104 (Tracey Butler Lourenco) – 6pm council chambers at the civic centre.
16 November: Ward 23 (André du Plessis) – 6pm Eden Retirement Village clubhouse.
19 November: Ward 15 (Gideon van Zyl) – 11am council chambers/exco room at the civic centre.
28 November: Ward 17 (Simon Lapping) – 6pm Kelvin Power Station hall.
28 November: Ward 16 (Jaco Terblanche) – 7pm Volle Evangelie Kerk van God, Glenavon Road, Nimrod Park.
3 December: Ward 13 (Sibanyoni Ndala) – 9am Birch Acres ext 32 park.
15 January: Ward 25 (Pieter Henning) – 9am open field at Mayfield ext 8 and 9 (tent to be erected).
26 January: Ward 91 (Johann Jordaan) – 7pm Coen Scholtz Community Centre.
