Pretoria Road: Nightmare upon nightmare

Read what some frustrated motorists had to say

As if it is not enough that motorists cannot travel along Pretoria Road towards the Elgin Road subway because of storm damage, more frustration slipped in, in peak hour traffic this afternoon – a truck got stuck (again) underneath the bridge.

Residents queuing resorted to social media trying to find an answer, just to get the answer they did not want.

A section of Pretoria Road at Beukes Road had been closed earlier this week due to storm damage, already creating problems at the subway and along the busy route.

Some of the comments posted on Facebook:

Ek voel so stressed out.”
