Throughout the incident, the woman manages to remain calm

SOCIAL media users have expressed their anger at video footage showing a mother, with her young son, being robbed by three men in broad daylight.

It appears as if the mother had just fetched her son.

The incident, which was captured on CCTV footage, shows two white cars, an SUV and a Lexus, in a parking lot.

A few moments into the video, the two back doors of the Lexus open and three men emerge from the car, just as the woman approaches her vehicle, as if they knew she was coming and they were waiting for her.

The mother, who is carrying a red bag, is immediately ambushed by the men.

Soon after, her young boy appears in the video crying and watching helplessly as his mother is being robbed. One of the perpetrators, who is carrying a gun, then reaches out and rubs the boy on the head, as if to calm him down.

Throughout the incident, the woman manages to remain calm.

One man then cocks his gun and walks away while the other two search a red bag for any valuables. One of them finally takes the bag and gets back into the car. The other one stays a few seconds longer and hands over something to the woman before getting into the car.

The armed man, who might have been the one ‘checking the coast’ the whole time, also comes back and they all get into the car.

The woman immediately grabs her son and runs off.

Community members have since been warned to look out for the men travelling in the Lexus, which was last seen in Aston Manor.

According to Intelligence Bureau SA, the men are all armed. The vehicle registration of the Lexus is CC39DPGP.
