THE MMC for Human Settlement, Lesiba Mpya, will on Saturday hand over 160 title deeds to the residents of Esselen Park and Vosloorus.
The hand over will start in Esselen Park in the early morning where 140 beneficiaries will receive tittle deeds. Another 20 title deeds will be issued in Vosloorus in the midmorning of the same day.
The handover of tittle deeds is part of the mayoral 100-day programme, which seeks to distribute a total of 280 tittle deeds in 100 days. The highlight for this programme includes the handover of houses to 292 families within 100 days.
The recipients of the title deeds have been waiting for these title deeds as far back as 1996.
The mayoral 100 days programme ends on November 30.
