After a century school needs a new name

Prizes will be awarded to the top three recommendations

A part of Laerskool Kempton Park’s history will come to an end, as it has become time for the school’s name to change.

The “Laerskool” is not relevant any more. Along with that, the school will also need a new emblem and motto.

Although the school is sad to lose this part of its history, they are also excited to move in this new direction.

The school has decided the best way to approach the renaming process, would be by launching a competition. Residents, former learners, parents and current learners are all welcome to participate.

The competition started on October 24 and entry forms are available at the school office, on Facebook as well as on their website. The rules of the competition are stated on the back of the entry form.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three recommendations. The first prize is R1 000; the second prize will be R500 and the third prize is worth R250.

Entries are free.
