Local entrepreneurs came in big numbers to attend a workshop organised by the Department of Economic Development from the City of Johannesburg.
The entrepreneurial workshop, which was part of the Economic Development Roadshow, was held at the Rabie Ridge Community Hall on Thursday last week.
This event coincided with the Global Entrepreneurship Week, which was launched in Sandton on Friday.
Speakers of the day included representatives from the Gauteng Provincial Treasury, Gauteng Liquor Board, Gauteng Enterprise Propeller, Business Place, Gauteng Tourism Department, the NHBRC and the local Region A Business Forum.
Bengeza Mthombeni from Region A acted as the master of ceremonies.
They spoke about business registrations, compliance issues and where to go to find the information, as there are few SME Hubs established in Jozi.
Mr Mokete, from Jozi SME Hub Riversands based in Riverside View, said their incubation hub offers such services for free to local entrepreneurs.
